The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Development Fund Announces Grant Opportunities For Not-For-Profit Organizations

August 28, 2015

The Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Development Fund is accepting grant applications from local not-for-profit organizations. Established in 2013 with a gift of $500,000 from the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Development Fund is an endowed fund dedicated to supporting not-for-profit organizations located in the Chamber’s Central New Jersey five-county footprint.

For the second year, the grant pool will be increased through a generous contribution from the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation.  The Foundation will provide an additional $5,000 to support the 2015 grant process.

Not-for-profit organizations that play a critical role in education, leadership, economic opportunity, and self-sufficiency may apply. Grant recipients are chosen by a Chamber advisory committee and confirmed by the Princeton Regional Chamber Board of Directors with assistance from the Princeton Area Community Foundation.

Grant proposals are due to the Princeton Area Community Foundation no later than Tuesday, September 15, 2015. Proposals must be delivered by 5pm or postmarked by the deadline. Decisions will be announced at the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon meeting on November 5, 2015. A total of $30,400 in grants will be awarded in 2015. Organizations may apply for a grant of up to $10,000.
